UPLOAD MULTIPLE HIGH-QUALITY IMAGES
The most important feature of a listing is a set of clear, high quality images - at least 3 or 4 images per listing. Make sure you include details, focusing on texture, material, colour, branding and signatures. Note, we won’t publish listings using stock images or images of a different work.
PRICE YOUR PIECES COMPETITIVELY
We’ve found that buyers will often evaluate items across different platforms, and are likely to conduct their own research, consulting other resources before committing to a purchase. As a result, works listed with competitive prices are always more attractive to prospective buyers.
TELL A COMPELLING STORY
Buyers are often interested in the artist or creator's background, the provenance of the item, how it was made, where you’ve seen it featured, and what makes it unique. It can help you close the deal if you include an interesting anecdote about your item, but keep it short - 80 words is ideal.
CLASSIFY CORRECTLY
Correct classifications will help buyers find exactly what they’re looking for, and providing crucial information makes it easier for them to discover your item. Our step-by-step listing process will provide guidance on how to classify your work correctly and appropriately.
COMMUNICATE READILY & POLITELY
Within FINERFINER, we encourage buyers to ask sellers direct questions about an item details or price. Communications can make or break a sale, so please ensure you're always responsive and available to help.
